Review of ‘Jeffrey’ at Arts@Artaud, November 23rd, 2011

A nice little review, from Brunel University’s Student Newspaper, for a sketch I did at Arts@Artaud, an arts platform available to the students.

‘…Following Nathan was the wonderful puppeteer Joni-Rae Carrack, conducting an untitled semi-improvisational performance of Jeffrey, her monkey-shaped puppet. The authenticity of the movement had audiences forgetting what Joni-Rae looked like – showing her excellence and commitment to her craft. Jeffrey captured the hearts of the entire audience as he interacted and played with them throughout, and certainly captured the heart of this reviewer…’
